How to Film a Great Video

No fancy equipment needed โ€” just a smartphone and good lighting. Here's everything you need to know!

๐Ÿ’ก

Lighting

  • Film near a window with natural daylight
  • Make sure your face is well-lit, no dark shadows
  • Don't film with bright light or window behind you
  • Evening filming? Use a lamp facing you directly
๐ŸŽค

Sound & Audio

  • Film in a quiet room โ€” no TV or music in background
  • Speak clearly and not too fast
  • Hold phone close enough so your voice is crisp
  • Turn off fans or AC if they make noise
๐Ÿ“ฑ

Camera Setup

  • Film in landscape (horizontal) mode recommended

  • Smile and show confidence โ€” judges love it!
  • Use props, drawings, or costumes if you like
  • Small mistakes are OK โ€” just keep going naturally
๐ŸŽจ

Background

  • Use a clean, tidy background
